How to measure your dog for good fit Collar:
Please be advised that:
- When you order the collar of a speciafied size, we will fit it on the middle hole.
- The collar will have 5 holes total with 1 inch (25mm) distance between the holes.
- For example, if you ordered the collar for the dog's neck size in 20 inches (50 cm), the collar, buckled on the central hole, will be equal to this number.
- The collar will have 2 holes to tighten the collar (to 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm)) and 2 looser holes, that is to make the collar bigger up to 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm).
- There will also be tip of the collar after last hole about 2 inch long (5 cm).
- The collars are hadcrafted and, possibly, they can have some differences in dimensions, but they are should not be significant.
- 2 ply leather collars and padded leather collars are 1 inch bigger to make sure that it will fit your dog.
Please, note that the collar requires proper care and treatment:
- Prevent water contacts to protect the material from overdrying in future.
- Never dry it on the radiator or close to the fire.
- Never let your dog chew it. It can be harmful for the collar and dangerous for the canine's teeth.
- Use leather conditioner and water repellent to maintain good look and quality of the product.
